The Brief

AH Events icon White

To provide support to the BBC for a hugely ambitious, visually spectacular musical relay spanning 78 miles along the entire length of the iconic Hadrian’s Wall to be televised live on the BBC.

The Solution

null

AH Events provided production, logistical support and safety management for the event.

The event involved hundreds of performers and was extremely complex in terms of logistical planning.  The relay baton had to travel to a very exact schedule due to the event being broadcast live, and by many different modes of transport such as go-kart, bus, tractor, unicycle, motorbike, boat and horse.

The AH Event Team was split into relay managers who would get ahead of each relay and manage key locations along the route.

The result was a hugely successful event with around 600 musicians involved and televised as the leading feature for BBC Music Day.
