40 years of Nissan in Sunderland – and more than 30 Family Days delivered by AH Events along the way! 🎉🚗

Yesterday saw another fantastic Nissan Family Day, celebrating an incredible milestone for the company and its workforce in the North East. 🎊

Thankfully, the rain held off while thousands of employees and their families enjoyed the event, but it certainly made up for it once the event was over! 🌧️

A huge thank you and credit to all of our suppliers and crews who worked through some extremely heavy rain during the breakdown. 👏

When thunder and lightning moved into the area, our team temporarily evacuated the event site and suspended all breakdown activity in line with our safety procedures. ⚡ Everyone followed the instructions brilliantly and work resumed safely once conditions allowed.

For us, event management doesn’t finish when the last visitor leaves.

AH Events remains responsible for the site throughout the breakdown, continuing to manage changing conditions, protect our suppliers and crews, and make sure everyone gets home safely. ✅

A massive thank you to everyone involved in another fantastic Nissan Family Day. 🙌

What an amazing day on Newcastle Quayside! 🎪🎉

We were delighted to work with Newcastle NE1 once again to deliver the hugely successful NE1 Quayside Carnival.

Following the success of last year’s event, we came back bigger and better for 2026 – and with a packed Quayside, thousands of smiling faces and an incredible 15,000 visitors throughout the day, it certainly felt like Newcastle came out to enjoy it!

A fantastic free family event, with entertainment, activities and performances stretching along the Quayside and creating a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Newcastle NE1, all of our performers, suppliers, crew and everyone who helped make the day such a success.

We absolutely loved being part of it. ❤️
